The experience of the past, present, and future of the dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place. Similarly, the experience of the past present of the waking becomes unreal when the waking entity (ego or you) realizes it is not the Self but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The past, the present in the future belong to the domain of the world. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the world is merely an illusion. The past, present, and future are nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’.
In Self-awareness your body, your ego, and the world, no longer exist as a reality. The universe in which you exist is nothing but an illusion.
You are part of that illusion. The Self is not you because you are the false Self within the dualistic illusion.
The one that becomes the past, the one that becomes present, and one that is going to become the future is the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The past present and future appear only in the domain of form, time, and space. The form, time, and space appear only in the domain of the universe.
The universe is present only when the ‘I’ is present. The ‘I’ is the dualistic illusion. the experience of birth, life, and death are a reality within the dualistic illusion.
Thus, it is necessary to have a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ to realize the truth hidden by the dualistic illusion (I).
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the end of all egocentric knowledge. Egocentric knowledge is dualistic knowledge, whereas Self-knowledge is Soulcentric knowledge.
Advaitic wisdom is nothing to do with orthodox Advaita, which is dualistic. Orthodox Advaita is a sect, which blindly accepts and follows dogmas and superstitions.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead to the final Goal. (Commentary on Vedanta Sutra)
Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
