Advaita is pure spirituality based on the Spirit, the God. The path of wisdom is the path to find the truth of our true existence.
The path of wisdom is a soulcentric path, whereas religion and yoga, and all other paths are egocentric.
The path of wisdom attracts only those who are in search of truth and they appreciate it greatly. The ignorant are not spiritually matured the receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The ignorant indulge in argument and provocation and personal attack, which hinder their own realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman.
That is why Jesus said: ~ “Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew 7:6)
~ Jesus meant knowledge of the Spirit, God, or Self-knowledge, or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.
The Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ It has been said that God Supreme or Supreme Spirit.
The Vedas and Bible confirm the Soul, God is Spirit. To realize God in truth, the path of wisdom or path of truth is necessary.
If God is a formless Spirit, then how does man know God created the world? There is no proof. If the man had seen God creating the world, he could admit it, but how could he have seen God before he came into existence? (i.e. were created).
The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there.
The Spirit is present in the form of consciousness. Everything is consciousness. All the moments are within the dualistic illusion. Whatever happens within the dualistic illusion is bound to be an illusion created out of the Spirit, which is God in truth.
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth."
Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. (II 23-P-20)
Thus, those who have taken path of wisdom are chosen ones. The chosen one will get the grace of the Soul the inner Guru. The path of wisdom is the Soulcentric path, whereas all other paths are egocentric. All egocentric paths are leads to hallucination.
The inner Self reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Sages of truth restrained themselves, parting the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and only a selected few. It was hidden from the masses who were not qualified and receptive to it. Self- it was given knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, was not written down, but was imparted orally to the chosen few.
Thus, religion was given to the masses, and knowledge of the spirit is given only selected few. Thus, we find traces of knowledge of the Spirit in the religious books in the form of parables. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
