The one who says he is already enlightened is ignorant.+

The one who says he is already enlightened is ignorant. The person who says I am enlightened is unaware that the ‘Self’ is not he, because he and his experience of the world are the product of ignorance.

Only the ignorant say he is already enlightened. Without the Advaitic wisdom, the ignorance will not vanish.

The one which says ‘I am enlightened’ itself is the ego. The one which feels it is he or she is also the ego. The ego is the false self (you) within the false experience (waking).

The ego, body, and the world appear together and disappear together. It is a foolish venture to try to destroy the ego because the ego is the very basis of physical existence (the universe).

Deeper understanding and assimilation are required for Self-realization. It becomes difficult to understand and communicate about the oneness on the base of the false self (ego).

Thus, rectifying the true base is necessary from form base to formless base to understand assimilate and realize the non-duality.

The ego is well established as the subject of perception whereas the body is the object within the “mind” which appears as waking or dream. This is learned from the fact that when one speaks of his body within the universe, which is merely an illusion.

Man and the world exist within the waking or dream. Thus, man cannot be the Self, because the Self, pervades everywhere and in everything in all three states.

It is a fact of direct experience that the Soul, the Self, which is in the form of consciousness, is without any change, whereas the waking or dream is always undergoing changes.

Thus the physical entity, which is within the waking or dream, cannot be the Self.

The Soul, the Self witnesses all the changes but it, itself is changeless.

The seeker of truth has to ascertain the real nature of the true self through deeper inquiry, analysis, and reasoning on the true base then only they become fully aware that there is nothing higher than consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

All three states are verily conscious. Thus this waking entity cannot be the Self, because the waking entity is limited to the waking experience, whereas consciousness pervades all three states

Consciousness is completely unattached” from the universe because it is not an entity or identity within the universe.

The universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. All the forms and names within the mirage have no value from the ultimate standpoint.

Thus, the division created by the forms and names is within the illusion. Absent of division there is unity in diversity.

Consciousness is within the universe but it is without the universe. It is within the universe as it is the formless substance and witness. :~Santthosh Kumaar
