Ignorance generates doubts and confusion. Ignorance makes one experience the duality as reality.+

Ignorance:~

Just as a piece of rope is imagined to be a snake in the semi-darkness and an oyster to be a piece of silver, so is the Atman (Soul) determined to be the body by an ignorant person. The illusion of Samsara is not an absolute reality.

Atman is ‘One’ without parts, whereas the body has many parts, yet people see these two as One! What else can be called ignorance but this? Knowledge destroys ignorance, as light destroys darkness.

When ignorance is destroyed, then the Self truly reveals itself, like the Sun when the clouds are removed. The destruction of ignorance is liberation. Darkness cannot remove darkness.

Wisdom being incompatible with ignorance puts it to flight. The ignorant long for results and engage in action with the idea of doer-ship and enjoyment.

The ignorant are deluded and think, 'I act', 'I cause others to act', 'I enjoy', and so on. Maya is the power of the Lord. She is made up of 3 Gunas, Tamas (inertia), Rajas (action) and Sattva (purity).

Maya or illusion can be destroyed by the realization of the pure Brahman, the One without the second. The mind is the cause of bondage. All beings are by nature Pure Consciousness Itself. It is due to ignorance that they appear to be different from It.

Remember:~

When one is searching for the truth he is not aware that he is searching for the truth within the false experience with his false identity.

There is no I, me, or you or us, no seeker, no enlightenment, no disciple and no guru, no teaching when one becomes aware that the Self is not ‘I’ but the invisible Soul, which is in the form of consciousness.

From the ultimate standpoint, there is no birth, life and death, no purpose of life, and nothing that has to be achieved when one realizes and becomes aware that his physical identity and his experience of the world are merely an illusion.

All that appeared as three states are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. The Soul also is the source of the mind from where it rises and subsides as a waking or dream.

All that apparently manifests in the illusion creates ignorance. And ignorance creates separation. This separation is the cause of duality, which is the of cause division within consciousness.

Man and his world, his religion, and his god based on blind belief, are part of the dualistic illusion.

Ignorance makes one appear as two. Absent of ignorance absent of duality. Whatever prevails without duality is a nondualistic reality.

All past, present, and future are reality in ignorance. Absent of ignorance absent of diversity or illusion.

The Advatic wisdom of Sage Sankara brings unity in diversity.

Destiny is part of the illusory world because birth, life, and death are happening within the illusory world.

All the happenings are part of the illusory world. Seeker has to discover the source of the illusory world.

The source is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is uncaused, unchanging, formless, and nondual.

The nature of the Soul, the Self is oneness is incomprehensible and so any communication about it can only be an interpretation of the ideas based on the false self or ego.

Ignorance generates doubts and confusion. Ignorance makes one experience the duality as reality. Ignorance makes one view and judge from the standpoint of false self or ego.

Whatever is based on false self or ego is bound to be falsehood because everything is viewed and judged believing the duality as reality. Thus, one is unable to think beyond duality. :~:~Santthosh Kumaar
