Spirituality is not a religion. Spirituality has nothing to do with religion and religious ideas of God its code of conduct and its holy books.+

Spirituality is not a religion. Spirituality has nothing to do with religion and religious ideas of God its code of conduct and its holy books.

Monotheism is based on religion, not spirituality. Spirituality is based on the soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit.

The religion accepts the experience of birth, life, death, and the world as reality, whereas Sage Sankara declares the world is unreal Brahman alone is real.

The experience of birth, life, and death happening within the unreal world is bound to be a falsehood.

The religious and religious belief and its ritual based on the birth entity is bound to be a falsehood.

The seeker has to realize ‘what is that is real and eternal?

In Vedas, God has been described as ~

Sakshi (Witness)

Chetan (conscious)

Nirguna (Without form and properties).

Nitya (eternal)

Shuddha (pure)

Buddha (omniscient)

Mukta (unattached).

All this the above is the nature of the Soul, the Self. Thus the Self is God. That is Atman is Brahman. Brahman is God in truth.

Remember:~

Religion has nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. Do not mix religion with spirituality.

Mixing religion with spirituality is like mixing oil and water. Religious truth is individual truth whereas Spiritual truth is universal.

If you are seeking truth then there is no need to worship Gods and Gurus. Worship of Gods and Gurus is meant for the religious populace who are not seeking the truth.

All devotional practices, such as puja and bhajans worship of individualized Gods keep you in the prison of the dualistic illusion. Whatever belongs to the falsehood has to be discarded.

Surrendering to physical Gurus, devotion is not essential in the Atmic path. By surrendering to a physical Guru, it is not possible to achieve Self-realization.

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."

Sage Sankara (Viveka Chudamani (2), states that the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him, and only those like him understand his state.

Those who identify themselves as Gurus identify themselves with religion and indulge in religious activities are not Gnanis because a Gnani bears no outward mark of a holy man.

There is no need to condemn the religious Gurus, but it is necessary to realize their falsity for the seeker's own information. By condemning the Gurus, the ignorance will not vanish. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
