Ignorance will not disappear neither by ‘WHO AM ‘I’? nor by the ‘I AM That- teachings.+

Māyā:~

Maya or illusion is the most important contribution of Sage Sankara. Maya or illusion is that complex illusionary power of the Atman (Soul), which is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality.

Maya or the dualistic illusion is present in the form of mind (I). And the mind (I) is in the form of the universe. And universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (Nonduality).

The waking experience is real from the standpoint of the waking entity (ego). The waking experience is unreal from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self. The shelter of the three states is consciousness (Brahman but consciousness itself is untouched by the profanity of illusion (Maya).

Dualistic Illusion (Maya) is temporary and is destroyed with Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Remember:~ The Self is not the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is the product of ignorance.

The ignorance will not disappear by neither by ‘WHO AM ‘I’? nor by the ‘I AM That- teachings.

Ignorance will vanish only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

To acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana there is a need to know what is this ‘I’ is in actuality.

The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind.

The mind is present in the form of the universe.

The universe is form, time, and space together.

The universe appears as waking or dream.

The waking is a parallel waking (duality).

The waking is a parallel dream (duality).

The waking or dream disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

The one which appears as duality and disappears as nonduality is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The ‘I’ is the dualistic illusion.

The dualistic illusion is present in the form of: ~

The mind.

The universe.

The form, time, and space.

The waking.

The dream.

The whole universe is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The universe appears as ‘I’ and disappears as ‘I-LESS.

The experience of birth, life, death, and the world is happening within the dualistic illusion.

The one that becomes dual and one that becomes non-dual is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, whatever that exists as dual and nondual is nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Among thousands of men, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the ‘Self’ in truth.

The path of wisdom attracts only those who are in search of truth and they appreciate it greatly. The ignorant are not spiritually matured they receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The ignorant indulge in argument and provocation and personal attack, which hinder their own realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman.

That is why Jesus said: ~ Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)

~ Jesus meant knowledge of the Spirit or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth." : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
