Sticking to some Guru emotionally within the dualistic illusion is a great obstacle in the path of wisdom.+

You and your physical Guru belong to the domain of duality. The duality is merely an illusion.
Sticking to some Guru emotionally within the dualistic illusion is a great obstacle in the path of wisdom.
The world in which you and Guru exist is the product of ignorance. If there is no ignorance, then the world in which you and your Guru exist ceases to exist as a reality.
When Atmic reality appears, this ignorance that one thinks as reality becomes unreal.
The ultimate truth has to be realized first without any philosophy, and only then is it possible to know what the scriptures are saying.
The Atmic reality is simply the loss of ignorance. Until ignorance is there, the body, ego, and the world exist as a reality.
When ignorance vanishes through Advaitic wisdom, then the Soul, the Self, remains in its own nondal awareness. In Self-awareness, there is unity in diversity, thus there is only oneness.
Swami Vivekananda himself said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own Soul.”
The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.
A Guru is needed in the religious and the yogic path. There is no need for a Guru to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Unless you realize the Self as the Soul, you are all blinded by the dualistic illusion.
The Guru who pretends to be Self-realized and plays with the emotions and sentiments of the seeker is a fraud, not a Gnani.
All the Guru Parampara is for the religious people. There is no need for a Guru who wants to tread the path of wisdom.
The teachings of the Advaitic Gurus of the east and west that are being followed by people are not the real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara. Many Advaitic Gurus of the east and west have altered his words, added their own teachings based on imagination and spoiled them.
Sage Sankara's work has got two aspects: the dualistic perspective and the nondualistic perspective. The dualistic perspective for those who take the individual experience of birth, life, death and the world as a reality, and the nondualistic perspective for those who are seeking the truth of their true existence.
There are two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the more advanced seeker who seeks to know the ultimate truth or Brahman.
The Guru and Guru Paramparas are meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, there is no need to follow any parampara and follow any Guru those who wish to realize the truth which is hidden by the illusory form, time and space.
We should not mix religion with spirituality because religion is based on the ego and spirituality is based on the Soul. Religion is concerned with its paramparas, not truth, whereas spirituality is concerned only with the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space. Religion is not spirituality.
Imparting the Advaitic wisdom to the unprepared mindset would be equivalent to giving sermons to stone statues.
Everyone is not ripe enough to understand and assimilate the Nondualistic or Advaitic truth. Many people want to exhibit their intellectual wealth, which is dualistic, but it has no value in the pursuit of truth.
The seeker must have enough patience, humility, and an intense urge to know the truth. Arguments and provocation will not yield truth.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what ‘leads to the realization of Nondualistic or Advaitic truth.
As the seekers understanding of ‘what is what ‘grows, gradually the seeker gets the glimpse of truth.
Whatever is based on the waking entity is falsehood, and whatever is based on the formless Soul, the Self is real and eternal.

Swami Vivekananda: ~ Worship your Guru as God, but do not obey him blindly; love him all you will, but think for yourself. No blind belief can save you; work out your own salvation. : ~ Santthosh KUMAAR
