Those Gurus who are unable to explain Advaita start speaking of love because they are sure of trapping the seeker into the emotional fold.
Love belongs to the dualistic illusion. Love is religious nothing to do with spirituality because there is no second thing that exists other than the Spirit, the God.
If you are seeking truth then you should not mix the path of love with the path of wisdom.
The Path of love is very much necessary in practical life within the practical world. The path of wisdom is the inner path.
The path of love is limited to the domain of form, time, and space, whereas the path of wisdom is for realizing the truth which is beyond form, time, and space.
A Gnani follows the path of love for the practical purpose and he recommends the path of truth for those serious seekers who seeking the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Love implies duality. To love, a lover is necessary. Love, lover, and the world are one in essence.
