First, realize the invisible Seer (Soul) is hidden by the visible Seen (universe). Realize the Seer is not you but the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
Without knowing what the ‘Seer’ is and what is ‘Seen’ in actuality it is no use in simply saying be the seer.
Realize you are not the Seer because you are an entity bound by birth, life, death, and the world.
The Soul is the Self; the Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness, the God is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs.
It is not possible to deny God because God is the very essence of the one who denies God. God is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs.
The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the witness consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.
Upanishads say:~ “Neti Neti—not this, not this....” This does not mean that Brahman is a negative concept, a metaphysical abstraction, a nonentity, or a void. It is not another. It is all-full, infinite, changeless, Self-existent, Self-delight, Self-knowledge, and Self-bliss. It is Svarupa, essence. It is the essence of the witness. It is the Seer (Drashta), Transcendent (Turiya), and Silent Witness (Sakshi). : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
