Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
The seeker has to unfold the mystery of the universe, which before you.
First, know what is this mind supposed to be. The mind is present only waking or dream. The mind is absent in deep sleep.
The mind is present only when the form, time, and space are present and the mind is absent when the form, time, and space are absent.
The mind is present only when the universe is present and the mind is absent when the universe is absent.
The mind is present only when the ‘I’ is present and the mind is absent when ‘I’ is absent.
The mind is an object to the Soul, which is the subject.
Till you hold the mind is within the body you are unfit to acquire Self-knowledge.
Your ‘I’ know attitude keeps you in the prison of ignorance and blocks you from realizing the Self.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness.
Remember:~
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth, Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realize God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.
God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.
Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth. The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.
Remember:~
Chandogya Upanishad:~ One who meditates upon and realizes the 'Self' discovers that everything in the cosmos-- energy and space, fire and water, name and form, birth and death, mind and will, word and deed, mantrams and meditation--all come from the Self.
There is no need to go in search of a Guru.
There is no need for any teaching.
There is no need to indulge in yoga.
There is no need to study and scriptures.
There is no need to run pillar to post to get Self-realization.
There is no need for Gurus; Grace. the Soul, the Self is the real Guru The seeker of truth should not search for Guru in the world in which exists. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.
Swami Vivekananda said: - “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your Soul.”
The 'Self' is the fullness of consciousness. Consciousness is the cause of the world, in which you exist and it is uncaused. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness because everything is consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
