Getting stuck to sentiments and emotions is getting stuck to the ignorance because emotions and sentiments imply duality.+

Most of the Advaitic Gurus are busy playing with the emotions and sentiments of the seekers with loving and ornamental words. Such Guru's aim is not propagating Advaitic wisdom but they are only propagating cocktail knowledge gathered from different sources. Such cocktail knowledge is not Advaitic wisdom. Such Gurus have only a commercial interest.

Getting stuck to sentiments and emotions is getting stuck to ignorance because emotions and sentiments imply duality. The duality is the product of ignorance. From the standpoint of the Soul, the duality is merely an illusion or Maya.

All your dualistic love and emotions keep you in the prison of ignorance. If you are seriously seeking truth, then you should not become a slave to your physical Guru, which blocks you from transcending from dualistic illusion to non-dualistic reality.

Sticking to physical Gurus who play with the emotion of the seekers will not be able to realize the truth hidden by the ignorance even if they have hindered births they will not get Self-realization.

Remember:~

The seeker of truth must shed prejudices and get disentangled from all that is not needed to acquire Self-knowledge. You must tread the path to the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC- v6- Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together.

The Soul is the reality hidden by the ‘I’ and it is very difficult to realize the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

By repeating the name of God or by rituals or by yoga or by mastering the scriptures or by penance or meditation the ignorance will not vanish but only the Advatic wisdom annihilates ignorance.

This means you should have a deeper conviction that the Self is not you but the Soul and this conviction that it makes the Soul, the Self forget the world in which you exist.

When the Soul remains in its own awareness then the world in which you exist has become on with the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. That is unity in diversity. This is real Advaita.

The Soul, the Self is nothing to do with you, and your experience of birth, life, death, and the world because, the Soul, the Self is birthless and deathless. It is birthless and deathless because it is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Remember:~

All your individual experiences of birth, life, death and the world are a reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience itself is the dualistic illusion from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the witness consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

If rightly interpreted Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom as spiritual food for the whole humanity. The Advaitic wisdom is the universal wisdom par excellence. Advaitic wisdom is not just a not a philosophy, but not a science, but the Science of Truth.

Sage Sankara gave religious, ritual s and dogmatic instruction to the mass but Advaitic wisdom only to the few who could rise to it. Hence, the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus, they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

In reality, three is no scope for two. Advaita means one without the second. Advaita means the Soul. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is one without the second.

Consciousness is one without the second because the world in which you exist is created out of consciousness. Thus, everything is consciousness. No second thing exists other than consciousness. Consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Advaitic truth has to be grasped mentally by realizing the form, time and space are nothing but an illusion created out of the single clay, and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Advaita, the one without the second.

If you emotionally stick to the ‘I’-centric or you-centric’ Gurus and their teaching you will never reach anywhere.

That is why Sage Sankara, indicated in Bhaja Govindam says: ~ (Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena) - one without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.

Then it is no use going a roundabout way, trace the Brahman which is the formless substance, and witness of the universe, which is in the form of mind. By tracing the source of the mind or universe one will be able to realize the Brahman or God in truth.

Self-knowledge is meant only for those who have intense urge, and courage to accept the truth with humility and reject the untruth. Since people start comparing with their scriptural knowledge, it becomes impossible to assimilate and realize the non-dual truth. Therefore, there is no need to convince anyone other than our own selves to get the firm conviction.

So, they clearly indicate rituals and theories are not meant for those who are searching for higher knowledge or wisdom. The path of wisdom is the only means.

The knowledge of both matter and spirit is the True knowledge. The true knowledge is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom itself is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana or Knowledge of God in truth.

Remember this: ~

There is no need to study neither Advaita nor Vedas nor Buddhism to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. It is no use going roundabout way; trace the Brahman.

Sage Sankara said: ~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg 25

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~ then why do you indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why do you indulge in studying philosophy.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge rituals, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

~ then why do you indulge in rituals.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~ then why do you indulge in yoga.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why do you indulge in yoga.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani) then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation. :~ Santthosh Kumaar
